Correcting Style - Adding Southwestern Accessories to Casual Business Dress

There are some easy ideas here to add a bit of southwestern flair to a casual business outfit but what is wrong with this picture?

The bracelet and necklace are a perfect way to add that southwestern look to an everyday outfit. The handbag however is overkill, outdated and in being paired with brown shoes causes the look to lose its flow. The white shirt is also out of place.

Better suited would be a either a print blouse with the brown and turquoise colors in it or a simple solid black blouse which will give a much more polished look even as casual dress. The bag needs to be replaced with a brown color that will match the shoes thereby giving flow to the entire look. A hobo bag with minimal fringe could work well and really add to the overall look. The shoes can work but replacing these heels with a pair of brown dress boots would be ideal, even booties if it is warmer weather.

In what scenario then would the turquoise bag be appropriate?
Possibly paired with western or leather boots that have a mix of turquoise and brown or tan in the boot, then worn with jeans or a denim skirt.
