Rockin' My Revlon Summer Nails Santa Fe-Style

There are so many beautiful nail colors out there that it can be really hard to choose. It never fails, I get caught up every time: I see all these amazing colors and I get like a kid in a candy shop and I come away with this and that. And, every time, I am usually disappointed because the only nail brand that I love is Revlon. It works. It never disappoints.

My favorite summer shade for some Santa Fe-style is Uninhibited. It is a bold sparkly orange. The orange blends beautifully with all of the earthy southwestern tones but it's got that extra bit of sparkle just to say, it's summer; I'm fun! Of course you can use any brand that is your favorite; just pick a hot sparkling orange for some Santa Fe flair and fun.

Add a cute southwestern summer top with a splash of orange and it's a fun look.

This polish has just the brightness you still need for summer but with a hint of the coming fall in this beautiful blend called Mistress, from L.A. Colors.

Give Yourself a STYLE Santa Fe Manicure

This takes a little longer than usual but for a special occasion or just to add a little STYLE Santa Fe to the same old drab look, why not? We did!

Soak nails in olive oil for a few minutes.

Gently pat dry

Massage cuticles with natural aloe vera from the plant.

Air dry.

Select your three favorite Santa Fe shades of nail polish.

Apply a single stroke down one third on side of nail with a darker shade.  Repeat on other side with another dark shade.  Using the lightest shade last, paint one single stroke down the middle.  Repeat on all nails. Seal with clear polish or nail hardener.

We used Revlon=s Tuscan Sun, L.A. Colors Antique Rose, and Revlon=s totally Toffee for this look.  Color coordinate with your favorite southwest outfit and you=re ready to go!
